Believe Obey Worship

Believe     Obey     Worship
BELIEVE
God is who He says He is and He can do what He says He can! He created the heavens and earth out of nothing. He spoke and they came into existence. His word cannot fail when spoken by one in faith, believing. Mark said it this way, "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. (Mark 11:22,23). If you believe and say anything in agreement with God, it will come to pass!

OBEY
Jesus learned obedience from the things He suffered. He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. If you love Him you will obey Him.Jesus loved the Father and submitted to His will even though it meant death on the cross. Likewise, we must be willing to give up those things He asks of us. It might be painful, but if you believe He loves you and wants the best for you, then your obedience will prove your love.

WORSHIP
When we love and obey God worship follows. It is not dependent on where but the attitude of the heart and mind. Worship is all of the following: loving God, adoring Him, respecting and revering Him, honoring and obeying Him, etc. It can be praying to Him or singing to Him or reading His Word. There are many expressions of worship to God, whether you kneel, stand, sit or lay before Him. It's the heart that must BOW.

Are you a disciple or church goer?

Many people go to church and believe that they are Christians. I used to believe that way too, before I had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that rocked my boat forever! I still remember the day I met this man. I was trying to quit smoking and a Lutheran pastor was praying for me. He introduced me to Jesus and I was filled with the Holy Spirit! From that day forward, I became His disciple. I was hungry for the things of God and began to pray and read the bible daily. The words of the bible came alive and I was no longer bored at church! I discovered that disciples follow Jesus and obey Him. Church goers, on the other hand, have no relationship with Him and treat church as any other social club.

Are you in covenant with your money or God?

Are you in covenant with your money or God? Which do you put your hope and trust in? Most of us would say the answer is God, but is He really your source for everything? When your rent is due, who do you turn to? When the power bill comes in, what then? When your son needs surgery which costs more than you have, what do you do? When your baby needs diapers, or some milk, what's your answer? God is a better father than any natural father and He is in covenant with His children. He will take care of us in all things. He loves us with an unending love and will never leave us or forsake us. With God, everything is possible.
